ToPH COVID-19 Assistance Grants

The Town of Port Hedland knows that businesses and community groups are hurting at the moment and they want to help!

As part of a number of COVID-19 related economic relief measures adopted by Town of Port Hedland (ToPH) Council at the April Ordinary Council Meeting, the Town has created two new grants to ease COVID-19 related economic hardship. They have allocated $365,000 for a Community Group Assistance Fund and $625,000 for a Support Local Business Fund.

The Community Group Assistance Fund will provide support to not-for-profit organisations, community and sporting groups affected by COVID-19 restrictions. It will support all activities that allow them to continue to service the community during the pandemic and the foreseeable recovery period.

The Support Local Business Assistance Fund will provide support to for-profit businesses affected by COVID-19 restrictions. It will support all activities that allow them to continue to service the community during the pandemic and the foreseeable recovery period.
