Mark your calendars and get ready for Puppet in the Pilbara!
Presented by Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, The Last Numbat is the giant interactive puppetry experience at the centre of the Town’s Puppet in the Pilbara event. The Last Numbat tells the story of a numbat who believes she is the last of her kind in the world.
Audience members will be thrilled as they are invited to join professional puppeteers at bringing the giant numbat to life. This large scale interactive work has been created by Australia’s renowned puppetry company, Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, with designer and puppet maker Leon Hendroff and was originally commissioned by the City of South Perth.
Exploring themes of connection, collaboration and sustainability, the event will also feature interactive workshops, community stalls and food vendors for the whole family to enjoy.
Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October at the Civic Centre Gardens.
