National Reconciliation Week 2020: 27 May – 3 June
The theme for #NRW2020 reminds us whether in a crisis, overcoming a global pandemic or in reconciliation we are all #InThisTogether.
National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
Reconciliation Australia is hosting a number of virtual events and online conversations. You can access further information to these here.
Share, support and celebrate National Reconciliation Week 2020 by getting involved.
In Hedland, we’d like to begin celebrating National Reconciliation Week by acknowledging the Kariyarra, Ngarla, and Njamal people as traditional custodians of Port Hedland. We recognise the continuing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to lands, waters and communities and pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
