Hedland Collective Stronger Together COVID-19 Response for April 2021

This week, following Western Australia’s three-day lockdown of the Perth and Peel regions due to a case of community transmission of COVID-19, a post lockdown transition period is in place for Western Australians until 12.01am, Saturday, 1 May.

While the same restrictions in place for Perth and Peel do not apply in the Pilbara, people in unaffected regions of Western Australia who have been in Perth, Peel or Rottnest Island since April 17 are also advised to comply with lockdown and mask wearing guidelines until the post-lockdown transition ends at 12.01am on Saturday, 1 May.

If you’re in an unaffected region and you’ve been in Perth or Peel since Saturday, 17 April, you can find more information and health advice here:

For more detailed information about the post-lockdown transition, head to the WA Government website here:

If you attended one of the other listed locations, get tested and remain at home until you receive a negative result.

If you attended a site listed as requiring 14-days quarantine, you must get tested and complete the full 14-days self-quarantine – regardless of your result.

Even if you have not visited one of the locations, if you have symptoms, get tested and self-isolate until you receive a negative result.
