The Town of Port Hedland is seeking input from the community on their South Hedland Place Plan, which aims to create a safer, more attractive and vibrant South Hedland City Centre.
The Plan will guide future initiatives including public space and streetscape upgrades, economic and community activation, events and cultural projects, and policy and procedural improvements around place governance.
The Town is seeking community input at a series of focused, in-person consultation activities running from Tuesday, 20 April until Friday, 23 April 2021.
- Join their interactive 'Dotmocracy' session at the South Hedland Square Shopping Centre and answer a few short questions to inform the future of the South Hedland City Centre.
- Register to join their 'Walkshop' exploring the City Centre sites via walking tour and give your views.
- Join their Youth Interactive session during existing SLAM programming at the JD Hardie Youth & Community Hub on Friday 23 April from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
