Congratulations to Hedland’s Community Collaboration Grant winners

Congratulations to all the community initiatives and organisations who received funding in the Town of Port Hedland’s Community Collaboration Grant.

Pilbara Community Legal Services Inc, in collaboration with The Junction Co and The Web Business Hub, were granted $10,000.00 to deliver a range of activities as part of Creative Hands Harmony Week – Celebrating Hedland Multiculturalism and Diversity.

FORM Building a State of Creativity Inc, with support from the Youth Involvement Council, Headspace and Care for Hedland, were granted $9,940.00 to deliver the SH+SEA Brendan Pang Residency and Workshops, an artist-in-residence program that will enable a diverse group of Western Australian artists to engage with local young people.

Fair Game Australia Ltd, in partnership with South Hedland Police, were granted $10,000 to deliver Game On! With Fair Game, delivering free after school fitness sessions during terms.

Hedland Toy Library, liaising with Mackillop Family Services, Wirraka Maya Health Services and Hedland Well Women’s Centre, were granted $9,817.52 to deliver the Inclusive Community Collaboration project, which seeks to acquire a range of educational toys, sensory resource materials and therapy equipment to expand accessible play for families.

The organisations received nearly $40,000 to deliver initiatives that make a real difference to the lives of local residents.
