The Bloodwood Tree Association has opened a new Welcome Centre at their South Hedland Wapa Maya premises, open 11am to 4pm each weekday.
Locals and visitors alike are invited to come and have a shower, do their laundry, charge their mobile phone, make a sandwich for lunch or join the Bloodwood Tree group programs.
The Welcome Centre has air conditioning, TV and free Wi-Fi available.
The program, a partnership between the Department of Justice, the Town of Port Hedland and Bloodwood Tree, aims to assist in empowering and connecting at-risk families, and equipping individuals with the tools they need to lead healthier and happier lives.
Find them at 14 Forrest Circuit, South Hedland, contact Bloodwood Tree on 9138 3041 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
