ASIST, a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first-aid, is coming to South Hedland this June.
ASIST teaches participants to recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide and how to work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety.
Available to people 16 years or older, ASIST can be learned and used by anyone.
Training will be held at the following dates and location:
Thursday 17th and Friday 18th June 2021
8:30am-4:30pm at the Youth Involvement Council, South Hedland
Morning tea and lunch are provided.
Registration is essential and limited spaces are available.
